Eco-Friendly Grass Cutting / Lawn Mowing

You may wish for me to just cut some of your grass depending on your preference – I don’t insist I maintain all your grass or nothing! I recognise some customers like for me to maintain their front lawn to a higher standard whilst they maintain their rear garden. You will really see the difference regular grass cutting brings to your lawn! If you have your own green waste bin, the most economical method for you in disposing of the grass clippings is for me to place them in your green waste bin. If you prefer, I can bag up your clippings for you to take them to the local recycling centre yourself. Alternatively, I can transport your green waste to the local recycling centre for turning into compost. However, although householders can drop off their green waste for free, as a business, I are charged for recycling green waste, and therefore, I do make a charge for delivering green waste to the recycling centre.

You don’t need to be at home when I cut your grass, as all my power tools are Eco-Friendly battery-powered. On the day of my visit, which I confirm in advance, all you need to do is ensure I have access to the parts of your garden needed to undertake the work you require. Then, you can return home to find your garden all maintained and ready for you. If you would like, I can also lock any gates etc. when I leave.

Regular grass cutting promotes a lush, healthy lawn with strong growth that helps control weeds. Therefore, my main Grass Cutting service is a regular weekly or fortnightly cut, although I do offer one-off cutting visits around my availability.

For customers who take out a weekly or fortnightly Grass Cutting, I offer preferential fixed rates for a defined number of visits throughout the grass cutting season (beginning of March through to the end of October) which you can sign up to any time until the end of August. However, if there is a mild autumn you may request me to carry on maintaining your lawn towards December or even through the winter on an ad-hoc basis.

A ‘normal’ March to the end of October season would see 35 weekly visits or 17 fortnightly visits.

DBS checked, Public Liability Insurance, City & Guilds NPTC qualified for spraying Professional Plant Protection Products such as herbicides/weedkillers, as well as licensed to recycle and dispose of your green garden waste if you need me to, you can trust me to provide the friendly, reliable and professional service you desire; helping keep your garden looking it’s best all year round.
